Was a battle horse
aka Napoleon Arabian
Marengo was small but striking grey Napoleon's mount through several important battles. Captured after
the Battle of Waterloo,in 1815, was taken to England, where, until his death in
c.1832, he was a sensational exhibit known as "Bonaparte's Charger." Not a god sire
His skeletal remains are on exhibit in London at the National Army
Museum. Birth date updated to c. 1793
