We try our best to use something related at least one parent when naming and when that fails, we go for an event. Irish Accent by Accelerator and born on March 17 Catch Some Zs by ZZ Cat Traffic School out of Run the Red Hieroglyph by Cryptoclearance Where's My Purse doesn't fit with our usual namin...

We also have an Imperial Falcon broodmare who surpassed $100k in earnings. She has proven to be a useful broodmare and has passed on her soundness to her foals. It sounds like the mare in question could pass on her soundness to her progeny too, and I love the close up, older bloodlines on her bottom...

We've found that breeding talent AND soundness to talent AND soundness has led to winners who race for a long time. They pay their bills and offer years of enjoyment!

Rubiano BM prospect--runners from durable family

Where's My Purse is a 5-year-old beauty by Rubiano out of Quack N' On. She's was speedy and is well built with lots of bone and muscle. She stands 16'1. http://www.pedigreequery.com/wheres+my+purse Her pedigree screams runners, soundness and durability. Her dam made 47 starts, earning over $100k and...

We've had good luck with Margaux Farm with Devil His Due and Cryptoclearance. Nice stallions, reasonably priced and nice, professional people to do business with. They are very willing to work with the breeder to find something that works for both sides.

Leroi is gorgeous, but we breed to race, so we bred to Seattle Fitz last year, and now have a gorgeous, strong weanling colt. Seattle Fitz is quite the specimen, and we also chose him because of the Myrtlewood connection you spoke of--our mare's tail female family traces to her. That, and the price ...

We have a 15'1 hand gelding and I swear, as does his trainer, that he puffs himself up and grows substantially every time he wins! He carries his head higher than I thought possible and he struts while cooling down--like he's the king of the world. I just tell him, "Just keep thinking like that budd...

In July, I was shopping around online for the OCD pellets, but the only like that showed up was the odcequine.com (also caldensity.com) one that has already been mentioned. It redirected to CalDensity. At that time, and still now, there's a picture of Brass Hat's winning comeback and it said "congra...

Ranitidine has been a career-long "dietary" staple for our 6-year-old racemare. It comes from the vet and at least around the Chicago tracks, is pretty reasonable. Since she's still racing well with 43 starts under her girth, I wouldn't change a thing!

Summerhorse, he's the one who didn't generate enough interest so his connections decided to continue to race him this year, and then send him to a regional market where they thought he'd fit better and generate more interest than Kentucky.
