anybody know of any tracks were 6 yr. old maidens are eligible?

With the shortage of horses/owners, the number of tracks where they are not permitted is probably shorter than the list of tracks where they are.

untrue around midwest, unfortunately. anybody know any midwest tracks--OH, KY possibly(?) were 6 yr old maidens can race? guessing this Q comes up rarely instead of often.

All of the CA tracks write 4yo & up maiden races. We actually saw quite a few older maidens on the fair circuit that is just ending. You can still make Fresno.

txs. CA with enlightened policy on this. never could figure out why rules originated to limit maiden runners. puts a lot of pressure on the late running 4-5 yr olds.
