| Supposedly Foundation Mare American Family A19
Fairfax Harrison notes [Early American Turf Stock, v1, p112] that the available evidence, which states that Jenny Dismal was a daughter of mare by [Godolphin] Whitefoot, and that John Baylor said she was a sister in blood to Paget's Brown Dormouse, suggests she belongs to Family 6-a (Cream Cheeks), although this cannot be proved
Jenny Dismal was possibly bred by John Thynne Howe, 2nd Baron Chedworth and may have run (unnamed) for a £50 prize at Chipping Norton as a 4yo in August 1756. Later in 1756 she was imported by John Baylor, Newmarket Plantation, Caroline County, Virginia
Family A19 died out in the 1870s
