Steward gets it exactly right: " The Jockey Club Gold Cup was the proverbial classic dirt championship at the time, and the DC International was the same for the turf." Kelso won the JC Gold Cup five times in a row; one win set a new American record which still stands. He was awarded HOY in all fiv...

Here's my take: HOY: Raven's Pass- Doubtful to be champion 3 yr old in Europe;never mind here. Wins one race on a non-dirt track and.....: Guess we should throw away all Curlin's 4 Gr 1's (after traveling around the world for 2 races.) and running 2nd in one of America's most prestigious Gr1 turf ra...

I don't think that Ginger Punch ran her best today, but as Frankel has stated before, she has a lot of heart. Being her first time a 1 1/4 miles she still did what champions do. I think if she runs in the BC like she did today, Zenyatta beats her. If she runs back to her last 2 I think Ginger Punch ...

Discreet Treasure..

For anyone who may have missed it, Belmont's 5th race on Sat was a Maiden Sp. originally scheduled on the turf but was taken off. Didn't seem to bother Discreet Treasure. A half to Discreet Cat by El Prado. Discreet broke step slowly and was probably 12 or so lengths back in the 7f race. At about th...

Folklore?

Help please. Does anyone know where Folklore is? I see that she hasn't had any babies yet. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about her or her whereabouts? Thanks for any help.

Indian Blessing, as much as I love her and loved her on BC day, will not win the Oaks. Between now and 3 months you are going to see a filly, which has not been seen yet (mark my words). Indian Blessing has pure class tactical speed, but not gonna hold up in the Oaks. The reason I loved Indian Blesi...
