Kingsgate Native

I have just deleted a duplicate of this horse. I would like to change him to a gelding and add that he was sent to stud, but due to fertility problems was gelded and has returned to the racecourse.

Many Thanks.

Yes, they do prefer pure blood, but they also had until about the 1940/50's pure arabs registered with the G.S.B, and also AngloArabs. When I worked as a stud groom, part-bred horses with T.B blood were often registered as Non T.B in the Non Thoroughbred Register (NTR), these horses often have their...

More info

Peggy O'Neil is in the Half-Bred book as Perion is only listed as Half bred with the G.S.B. Westhorpe Peggy is a T.B - G.S.B Vol 32,p.948.

Later many of Perion's offspring were registered with the G.S.B.

Gazelle probably was only used for pony and show breeding purposes.

White Filly - For Jorge

Lot 583 in the March Magic Millions Sale, Australia. She is a pure white filly, possibly an albino? I was wondering where her colour has come from?
She is by Zabeel out of Carmina Burana (NZ) by Star Way.

Hi Sarah, Michael's Revenge was registered with the British Horse Database in the U.K in 1998 and was the sire of pure T.B's. He was also used to breed hunters and sports horses. He was also a Hunter Improvement Society Premium Stallion. He stood at stud in Cornwall in 1998. That is all I can find o...

Kalyan (FR)

Hi,
Can someone please check the above horse, I have come across a B.f 1964 (G.B) by Kalydon out of Stanyan (Happy Knight), the same year that the above horse (Kalyan) was foaled. The filly came up for sale at the Doncaster November Sales 1965.
Which is the correct horse?

Many thanks.

One for Jorge, this french bred gelding by Cybourg ran over hurdles today in the U.K. Chestnut with a lot of white on legs, up to his hocks, and it looks like white splashes on his belly.

Regards.
