Depends on the trainer . My guy likes to have most equipment. Some stuff is bought for that horse only. Hobbles( those things that keep the horse pacing are a good example). They can be adjusted , but very rarely does every horse in the barn have the same length , or some are light , some are heavy....

How bout this one . I know of a trainer that will have a horse claimed off him , and the owner claims the horse back the next week , and the trainer bills the owner for all new equipment. Did the equipment go missing in the last week or two ?

Maryland Barn fire

MY condolences to everyone that lost horses at the fair hill training centre in Maryland on Tuesday night . Just read about it on Standardbred Canada insider news bulletin. I Hope they find the cause so it can be prevented from happenning again.

Hey Jorge , Funny thing about not having roans in Tb's . We have them in Standardbreds. As well as sabino and rabicano. Apparently tobiano too , but I have only ever seen one of those from a post on the all breed site. I figure they are pretty closely related. Since I could trace my standardbred back...

To think I complained about having to pay 20 dollars CAD fpr reserving spots for the Canadian Derby. I would say save up and make it out here next year for that. It would probably be cheaper.lol. 35 dollars for the v.i.p tent. Heck could probably get you signed in and it would be free.
