The money really isn't the issue although I appreciate the passion. I just don't want to spend more than I have to on the shipping. I'm looking up some stuff now and making a few phone calls to friends who ship a lot. As soon as I get a call back from the sellers I'll update you. Hopefully they're n...

I called them and told them I'd take her. Haven't heard back from anyone. But if anybody knows of some cheap shipping to Kentucky, let me know.

Is he breeding sound? You see so many horses with lesser accomplishments and pedigrees get a chance at stud. And while this guy may not have the most amazing record or fashionable pedigree, I do believe his dam is a half-sister to Majesty's Imp who was a decent stallion from limited opportunity. I r...

I would like to know why people want to breed to stallions whose stud fees are higher than their average earnings per runner. The odds are against making money breeding to Storm Cat,A.P. Indy,Smart Strike,Unbridled's Song,Dynaformer,Distorted Humour, etc. There is no stallion standing with average e...

Counter Punch has a significant family, but in my opinion, I agree with Mizzen Mast being superior in that dam line.

Good foals from proven turf stallions are also selling quite well if this past Keeneland sale was any indication. Cozzene had some big hips.

I'll be there buying. I'll try to snap some for you. Although, I'm no photographer! Be warned!

Thats actually a really active family behind her. At one point a few weeks ago, two or three good horses on the Derby trail were from the Kay Ho family.

If you're mare is still in the big white north, you might want to look at Gilded Time with her. It will give you interesting inbreeding to What a Pleasure and Princequillo. The GT's still sell pretty well and I'd imagine they'll sell real well in Canada. It would certainly have every right to be a f...

I think you should probably breed to a proven stallion, since she's not proven one way or another. I do like inbreeding to Grey Flight, and a proven stallion within your budget is Slew City Slew. The inbreeding to Grey Flight is 6x5 but the pedigree is really nicely linebred. You can't go wrong with...

How do you figure his best horses are all active at the same time ??? Smart Strike has shown a lot of potential from day one. His 1st crop he sired 10 stakes winners from 59 foals that included million dollar earners Tenpins and Fleetstreet Dancer His second crop 6 stakes winners from 72 foals but ...

Smart Strike had an explosive run last year and he's been a consistently good stallion from the start, but I think we'll see his fee start to drop a little after Curlin makes his exit. I think he's a very good stallion, but not exceptional. His best horses in his entire stud career all happened to b...

I can only speak from personal experience and I left there extremely pleased. They helped solve a problem with a mare that countless other vets and centers couldn't see.

I'm thinking of breeding a Septieme Ciel mare to Arch next year. I'd imagine unless he gets a massive horse on the dirt, his fee will remain the same in 09. After looking at his blacktype horses, there seems to be some affinity for Seattle Slew blood. Am I imagining this or do other's see it as well...

His sire might be an obscure horse but BBJ's family is one of the best in the studbook. They're all class.

Lexington. It's a veterinary facility for horses only. Amazing vets that provide fantastic care. It's one of, if not the best in the world, imo.
