3 year old Black Mambo stallion in need of help ASAP!!

Hi all, Im sorry to post this here, I know this isnt a sale board, but this is life or death emergency. JD Farms (horse training/racing facility) has a horse that just doesn't want to race and they have not had luck in the past with giving away horses – as they sometimes find them starving in a fiel...

Rose of Gallapiat/ Limited Roses

I have a mare, Rose of Gallapiat who I have owned since the beginning of 2008. I was told she was bred in 2004 but the foal did not survive, that was the only time she was bred. According to the Pedigree Query, If I do a progeny report for Rose, I get 2 foals, both 2008. One filly named Limited Rose...

I'm so glad this is being talked about. I had thought for awhile now about his bad feet and the difference between breeding for a good, sound racing horse vs. the big names and fads. I wouldn't breed my mare to Big Brown. I don't know the nature of his foot problems specifically but to me, as a trai...

We have decided to go with Wekiva. Double Diamond are great to work with and they love our mare's accomplishments. Thanks everyone for your input, I took it all into consideration.

Yes, both had nothing. Went back too far, didn't have a lot of more modern age stallions. I also looked at Barbara Livingston's photo site and found nothing.

I wouldn't call Mongoose totally unproven. He does have a few racing crops out there doing ok. Its funny how I cannot get any input on him from anywhere. Is it his Broad Brush/Ack Ack line that you don't see alot of these days? He was on the Derby trail, trained by Bill Mott and ridden by Jerry Bail...

Photos of stallions- Gallapiat?

I'm a pretty handy Internet surfer and can find most anything. I CANNOT find pictures of certain racehorses. Do any of you know of any database other than this one that may have pictures of say, Gallapiat for one? My Gallapiat mare looks indentical to Buckpasser but I have no clue what Gallapiat eve...

Double Honor was first on my list because with her papers, came a note that said she was eligible for a considerable discount on Double Horor or Imperialism. Unfoortunately, when I called, both stallions books were closed for the year. Plus, the people there were not very receptive to talking with m...

Stallion shopping

Hi all. I am a trainer who had no intentions of becoming a breeder. However, I had a nice mare basically given to me and am now looking at breeding her. She is a Gallapiat mare, Buckpasser on sire side and Kris S is the broodmare (Trufulla Rose) sire. She is stakes placed, won 6 of 8 mostly allowanc...
