She isn't from a speed line, her dam is half-sister to a horse who was second in the St Leger, but I see what you're getting at.

Everybody's first thought with this mare is that she is back at the knee, she gets that from her sire - Danehill - she didn't run through her faults at all, she was unraced. The foal is by Cockney Rebel. My thoughts on her were that she gives the overall impression of being too top-heavy for her som...

Broodmare conformation

The palomino filly is actually a pretty enough filly, probably worth plenty enough as a show prospect.

The white colt is, frankly, hideous - what a hammerhead.

You mean like maybe they already owned half before the sale?

Possibly something like that, obviously I could possibly comment. Maybe someone else got wind of it too, who knows?

"Making room" does not neccesarilly mean they dont have the actual space. Ive heard the term used when old stock isnt pulling t...

Tonno100 The "for the sake of argument" was to pinpoint a name to the X chromosome for Henrythenavigator, it could be any of the many that could have been passed down the fact remains that he received his from his dam, not his sire, and all of the X chromosomes in the mix had their own genes, undil...

Tonno100 I agree that each foal could get a different X chromosome, what I said was the genes contained on the X chromosome are undiluted. For the sake of argument let's say Henrythenavigator received Special's X chromosome from his dam, the genes on that X chromosome are undiluted and are the same...
