Re: French Racing
Rouhiya's unexpected victory May 12 in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French One Thouand Guineas) provided a perfect illustration of the Aga Khan's maxim that racing and breeding racehorses is a game of chess with nature. A month ago Francis Graffard thought he had unearthed his Classic filly when...

Re: Frankie Dettori
Frankie Dettori rode six consecutive winners at Santa Anita in California on Saturday evening. The victories came at cumulative odds of more than 77,000-1. Dettori famously rode a 'Magnificent Seven' of all winners on the card at Ascot in August 1996 at odds of over 25,000-1. "I adore this plac...

Sands of Mali
Sands of Mali is fairly unique these days in being a true outcross ie he has zero duplicated ancestors in the first 5 generations of his ancestry. I hope and think this will help him become a outstanding sire of precocious fast 2 year olds and at the same time cock a snoop at all the droning on line...

2023. Melbourne Cup.
Vauban
Set for this race for some time and couldn’t have been much more impressive at Ascot defeating Ebor winner and stablemate Absurde by a margin. Ryan Moore booked and gate three should ensure a good run in transit. The one to beat.
