Jorge, It appears to be a mixed breed race, and the second place finisher is an Appaloosa. You are correct Tiz. It would have been a mixed race. Aze Beduino is sabino under the grey, and due to the AQHA rules at the time, was registered and raced as a Paint. Now that the AQHA has dropped th white r...

Damn! For me Waquoit will always be the poster boy for the demise of racing as it was --a distance-testing sport. Racing secretaries were about to accommodate the plethora of wimp horses onto the slippery slope toward quarter horse racing. When Waquoit won the Jockey Club Gold Cup it was contested ...

He raced on turf once or twice as a 2yo. The Blood Horse Stallion Register notes him as winning the Gilded Time S @5f on the turf

Let's see 620 foals and only one stallion that is EVER on the leading Sire list (who BTW didn't have to earn his stripes the hard way because he has always been suppor...

Re: Looking for info on Cox's Ridge & 2 of his sons

I'd love information on Cox's Ridge & two of his sons: 1. Trapp Mountain [stands in TX]. and 2. Sundance Ridge [stands in MA] Specifically, any information on soundness [and soundness of their offspring], temprament, and what these horses throw would be appreciated. We recently accumulated a co...

Victoria Park

I know Victoria Park stood at stud for several years in Ontario. But, did ever stand in the US at any point?

Maybe you're thinking of Nureyev?
