I didn't have cow hock in my notes but I see what you mean on the video. He was better looking in person. I would not hesitate to breed to him on the the first book.

NY can't support a stallion at that fee, and his stallion profile is not a good one.

Saratoga 2008

I am looking for yearlings!!! it's time to nominate for Saratoga Select and NY bred yearlings. I am looking for a select horse or two. I believe I have a client who has two select yearlings, a Street Cry and a Cherokee Run, and am looking for one or two more to fill a consignment. I would offer real...

The only way you can make it in NY on a more consistent level is breed to a KY stallion and find a reputable sales representative.. You are absolutely correct..That is the formula, that is what the market dictates. Why do you want to go against market trends and face almost certain financial hardsh...

If you are breeding in Ny you better be breeding to RACE casue the big sale prices of NY breds are all bogus! The Ky horses have all taken over! There are plenty of big sales 100,000+ of NY breds that are legit. I have bred/sold/been around many. However, most are by KY stallions. Getting that for ...

It was unfortunate to have the A additions. Not only were they not online but as the consignor, I tried to buy updates and couldn't! I had to buy a new unedited pedigree. However, If the horse is with a large enough consignor, it gets out and is showed. I got 17a sold for $50,000 and 36a sold for $3...

It was also a very bad sale. Think about putting him in the NY breeders mixed sale. I know it sounds crazy but I had several yearlings in last year that I thought sold beyond their value. There are very few yearlings in that sale so it's a classic fish/pond thing. That open sale was just full of $5,...

Thats partly why I'm a consignor now. The above mentioned consignor is actually very good except the fact that he lied. In fact he almost always got my horses sold, but who needs a B.S. artist.
