There was a great TB jumper re-named Touch of Class that won an Olympic gold medal with Joe Fargis. I can't remember what her JC name was, but she did run a couple of races without winning. Stillaspill. Her dam, Kluwall, also produced Special Memories. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/touch+of+class3

Interesting that few people are picking Street Sense on the basis of looks. Steve Haskin felt that Any Given Saturday was hands down the best looking of the Pletcher crew. I have not seen Street Sense in person but he does look very well-balanced from the photos and videos that I've seen of him. I'...

Years ago, I remember seeing a photo in which the jockey had apparently slipped off the horse just strides before the wire. Somehow, he landed on his feet, reins in hand, and led the horse across the wire. His former mount did cross the wire first by about a head, with him a step in front. The phot...

Unimaginative, sometimes. But from a convenience point of view, many popular/common names can be recycled by adding Miss, Girl, Lady, etc.

Lady Pegasus
Miss Secretariat
Secretariat Lady
Lady Fu Peg
etc

I come up with Hiking Boots. Unfortunately, they usually have lug soles. Doesn't sound too appealing.

How bout Hiking Booties? I know, no Sole, but cute name nonetheless!

Your new mare is lovely- best of luck with her. I enjoyed how "old" her pedigree is- the years sort of jump back quickly.

And WOW to the blue eyes! What a treat- I've never seen a blue-eyed TB before. Thanks :)
