Hello all!
I am curious if there is a race record or produce record on DARLENE'S DEMISE (1982) by KING PELLINORE (1972) out of VELVET'S VERSION (1973) Thanks!

May need a horse shipped from KY to KS, cost? names?

Hello!
I have a potential buyer for my mare in KS. We are trying to find the least expensive (but safe) trip out there. I thought maybe someone may be heading that way in the future.
Thanks!

I cut last years QH colt at 4 months because he was bold, not aggressive, just bold. He was protector of the mares from an early age, whether it was a dog in the field or me entering the field. The vet agreed with me after he had to double dose him to get him down for the castration. I think castrat...

Was the foal vaccinated before he was weaned?
I creep feed mine from the beginning. I put up 2- 16' fence boards in the corner of the paddock to make a square where the 2 foals can eat w/o mare access. I also vaccinate prior to weaning, before they are stressed. Yes worm also.

The Thyro L gives such a range for dosing (.5 - 2 per 100lbs I think), I am never sure of the dose I was giving. I have dosed a TB mare, a QH mare (obese) and presently treating an obese Irish Draft gelding, approx #1500, 17h, 16 yrs. Any clue as what I should dose him? Thanks!

I have had 2 TB mares with it. We did flush them and gave penicillin, I was told it was akin to strangles.

Outside of the TB industry, I have heard of horse traders using the long acting drug fluphenazine to sell an otherwise "crazy" horse. Once it wears off the new owners own a different horse than they bought. I have heard of giving equipoise to geldings to make them more aggressive in barrel racing or...
