I was shocked when I read this last night on the Blood Horse, the last I had read was that she was doing well. So well that they did not think she would need surgery. I wonder what went wrong?
Such a shame, she was such a lovely filly.

Well, good luck, it is probably better to be on the outside., only a horse on one side of her. Your rider can jump out of the gate and have a look at what is going on beside and in front of them and make a decision of what to do. Breaking from the rail is always tough on a green filly, everyone drop...

Just wanted to clarify that she is trained by Greg Gilchrist not Hollendorfer. Greg has done a great job with this filly as well as picking her out at a sale in Florida.
