Claritan Commercial

If the jockeys used their whips in the commercial viewers would equate that to beating horses. That's what the viewers would remember. The vision is not pleasant and would paint a negative picture for the drug company.

Clariting Commercial

The first thing I noticed in this commercial is that the jockeys are not carrying whips. Did anyone else notice this?

2 year "young" races

I thought the next 2 year old race at Santa Anita is this Wednesday, March 21, first race. "In a racing rarity, twins owned by twins were entered in the first 2-year-old race of the season on Wednesday. Kaylarocketdancer and Kyles Rocketdancer, fillies by the California-bred sire Rocket Dancer, are ...

Laffit Pincay broke the Del Mar track record for the most wins on our horse Lady Cadet a few years back. That was exciting for us!

Cajun Queen

Sorry, forgot to post this. My friend, who is a steward at the track and friends with the trainer, said the trainer took Cajun Queen back to the ranch.

Mare

I see she is listed with Friends of Ferdinand. I have heard good things about this organization/rescue. I believe they will help this mare through her transition period and will put a smile back in her eyes.

Mares at Pleasanton

I spoke with a friend who is a steward at two race tracks in that area. She knows the trainer personally and phoned him about the mares for me. I forwarded my friend the posts on PQ and Final Turn. Yes, Fast Romance, the mare with the bow was placed. The trainer's plans for Queen Cajun, the mare wit...

Callya Later

I like the horses racing name. Thank you Artic Cielo for posting this horse needing to find a home. Marli, yes this is different territory but has that ever stopped us from helping a horse? Thanks for the map of the United States. Keep your hooves crossed for good news in the morning.

Point Ashley

Regarding Point Ashley, I read an article that said the trainer didn't think she was ready and that she was recovering from an illness. My friend is her exercise rider. He was also the exercise rider for her daddy, Point Given. Look at the post dated 9/23 under Racing - Cool Pic of Point Given. That...

Kids and Racing

Our stable is named after my nephew and niece. It is also the license plate on my father's car. Then along came my other niece who felt left out. So she had a horse named after her. My niece was 3 yo at the time. This horse, in her opinion, is hers and no one elses. Especially not her brothers or si...

Vindicated - I believe the picture you saw had Bob Baffert in the background in place of the man you see in this photo. Pepe has asked me to find the photo with Baffert. I contacted the Associated Press and am waiting for an answer. Do you by any chance have that picture or know which news agency to...
