What a great filly! It's just a little sad she didn't run once more, but she ended her career on an up note, winning her final race.
I'm betting she'll definitely produce some stakes winning speedsters...

Indeed Karen! He literally gave it all he had and ran a huge race. Just heartbreaking though-he lost by only four inches, but I'm really proud of this gutsy and brave horse. Maybe he even has a little left for next year... Also, who knows-maybe old Einstein may have one more big effort left in the t...

This does suck JaradM. He's a heck of a horse-and very underated imo. I don't know what happened in the JCGC, but he's had a great year. For any trainers or owners out there, it was reported that the horse developed a "cough" and thus would miss a workout-why then couldn't they just delay his breeze...

A couple of things about this race...First off, Researcher was very impressive and I'm looking forward to seeing this horse face some graded company later in the year as his trainer hinted. Second, however, despite the intriguing format, I almost viewed this race as sort of a cross between an exhibi...

Tin Cup was an absolute warrior and my heart goes out to you and your family during this horrible loss. I know that you not only will treasure his on the track triumphs, but just the times having him as a friend are even more important memories. His inspiring story from his colic bout to defying all...

This was truly devastating to read about. He was one of the top four older horses last year and likely would've been near the top again this year. It's almost ironic that I just looked up his bio and race record the day before yesterday. I'm gonna miss this guy-he won $2.9 mil, 3 $1mil races and was...

I'm deeply sorry to report Indyanne passed away today. http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/racing-news/2009/January/13/Indyanne-euthanized.aspx This has been a truly devastating time with the losses of Shakis, Wanderin Boy, Go Between and now Indyanne all in just the past couple months. Always remember...

Don't get me wrong Tiz, I think TCC's connections have done a fine job and a steady progression with this horse, but there is a window of opportunity with TCC this November that may not present itself later. As you stated Tiz, this horse has grown a very competitive heart but having him opt for a mi...

I think his fever was a legitimate injury and it's a shame he had to be retired. He was a very good turf horse and it's too bad his connections aren't willing to wait and give him one more shot in a November race. For that matter, I've always wondered why more owners/trainers don't give BC horses on...
