Really though, if you spend $15,000 on a stud fee and you sell the foal for $2,000 and the foal makes $5,000 you didn't come out ahead and you haven't improved your mare....simple as that!

mightyhijames thank you....this was driving me a bit nuts. I saw the commercial for the first time yesterday. I keep rewinding the TVO yet had no idea who he was. I went to google all I could to find out to no avail.

Check earners $8,000 and $5,000. Training cost a year are way more than that. Oh yeah and the stud fee. You are for real right?
