Need Advice
I posted this in another subject but didn't get much of a response, thank you to the person who did respond. I would really like to know about this pedigree, how good is it. My intention is to breed to non-TB's but I am courious how she would do in the TB world, if it would be worth it or not. Hope ...

How Good is this Pegigree
Just wondering how good this pedigree is and what would be a good line to breed to?

If still interested.
I recently relocated from Pa. to Ocala 18 months ago. I searched high and low for a good, safe reasonable place to board my horse. I finaly found one for a good rate with exceptional care on the Ocala/Summerfield boarder. My gelding has been there now for a year and couldn't be happier. He is pastur...

Yes the stud fee was already paid and the contract just stipulated that if the mare losses the foal or the foal dies within 72 or birth then the mare owner is due a re-breed as long as the mare was properly vacc. and taken care of, which she was. It however does not say how many times, I am just a l...

How many times??
I am new to breeding and have a TB mare that aborted 8 months in last Dec. Planning on breeding her back of course to the same stallion. Question is, how many times does the mare get a re-breed if she aborts again? Is there a set number of times? I do have a breeding contract with a LFG.
Thank You.
Thank You.

Thanks Chuck
Chuck, Thanks. Your right on that as the equine hospital that she would be going to charges an entrance fee of $200 just to be admitted. It's worth a shot and is a lot safer. If it doesn't work then we know it's not the ulcers. How long could a horse have the ulcers and go undetected? I have only ha...

Thanks for info
Thanks so much for the info, I have the mare in Pa. and I am in Fl. I have two vets for my horse down here, one for his teeth. I talked to both of them this week and they both recommend scoping her. I think that is what I am going to do so I know for sure. Again, thank you for the info.

Cronic Colic
I have an 8 year old TB mare who has been off the track now for a few years. I just acquired her just over a year now. She has bad heat colic, but comes out of that on her own. She was bred last March and in Sept. of last year started to have severe colic attacks every week. She aborted in Dec. and ...
