Promised Trial - while i like this pedigree a lot, she hasnt produced anything of note, nor do I see any of her sisters producing consistently. looking at the sisters the best of all progeny was by caro and a useful runner through Gone West line. Considering this mare has a Mr. Greeley already I'd b...

The high GSV will be useless unless you are willing to pay for a stud fee of a stallion that throws good looking foals that pay their way on the track. That is the right way to use a mare with a GSV score that is this high. :D Thanks George. always looking for good examples of how to use your system.

louis,

know your busy looking at Derby nominees to forecast who will breakdown before the event, but do you know who is the "inventor," the person who first made the statement that Phalaris inbreeding was a problem? Who were the early followers that have helped perpetuate the claim?

thanks

QUEENSMARK (USA) b. F, 2004 DP = 7-11-16-4-0 (38) DI = 2.17 CD = 0.55 - GSV = 70.80 I would be interested in George W Smith's opinion of this mare since her GSV is at 70. With 70 GSV this mare should be winning G1s in California. Is she injured, not competitive, no funds to put her in training? I un...

hello Shygirl. I think this mare could be approved for many stallions at various stud fees. Her age is the only negative that would probably keep me from doing anything with her unless it was important to me to carry her pedigree forward another generation. There are worse mares being shopped around...

the best horse I could find thru this female family was Scrimshaw. You might consider him if you like inbreeding to female families or maybe Kipling though I dont like Kipling at 7500.

fad or not, very rude or just being real, I hope TrueColours outlasts the fad. That's where I'd go for exceptional TB non racing stock of any colour.

pedigree still tells a story about the horse even if he's a gelding.

Shawna....since you have time take a look at the Fasig site sales results for last year's Texas sale. Give you a better idea for what you're asking.

Leestown and Afternoon Deelites have been at the top of the State list for some time now. It will be interesting to see where they rank now that the Louisiana staliion business is growing.

Time will tell for Lunarpal.
