Hi LB - do you remember when Rob Whiteley partnered with them on some mares? I wonder what has happened with those - Whiteley is a good guy and certainly has a successful track record....those mares could be worth a look in November. re: understatement, I'm glad you caught that! Funny thing, ...

Is it possible to employ Storm Cat as a sire with Thoroughbred mares, at a reduced non-guaranteed price, with the understanding that the resulting foal will only serve as a future sire and will not run? Anyone know what is Storm Cat's current physical condition, other than appparent decline of seme...

Slewcrew, I've made almost 850 posts in four years on this forum and you've made 21 posts in about 4 months. I don't see anyone else jumping in saying that they think I'm an idiot!!! The people that know me and respect my opinion know that in 50 years SC and SW will not be the hot topic of the day?...

Jones has publicly stated he gives his horses Equipoise, all of them, every month. Equipoise is a steroid. He said he will continue to do so unless it is no longer permitted. I disagree with what you say the postmortem will "find", I believe the postmortem will test positive for Equipoise, if they ...

Jones is reputed to have a VERY heavy hand with steroids. Likely she was so hopped on Equipoise she ran to breakdown. Another Unbridled's Song with a fragile front end. Very sad. I think you will find out different postmortem, and if that is the case, you should apologize profusely for what you said ...

Have a good solid platform,i.e. an overectomized draft mare...more patient, more stable, and can be brought in at your convenience with an injection of estradiol. Most important...patience.If the horse is jumping in the right areas, and maybe even penetrating and not finishing, when you sense they are be...

Just applying Okie logic I would say it reduces fertility by 50%. I gotcha, but SOG was a very fertile horse...that one n*t must have been somethin' Ahh. The miracle of artificial insemination. I was in the shed with him for 10 years, and that never happened. You should be able to back somethin...

It really depends on who you talk to. Mare owners will say there mare didn't get in foal because of the stallion and stallion owners will say there is a problem with the mare. I would really say it depends on the stallion. AP Indy hasn't had any problems; Roman Ruler hasn't either. I'm pretty sure ...
