Here's a little question that has been bugging me for awhile. If this was a breeding farm, how is it that a vet never sounded the alarm to the abuse that was taking place on this farm. I am sure she had to have the vet out to check mares right? There is no way she could have hid 80 horses from the v...

Unfortunatly, times are tight, and some poeple will do what they have to in order to survive. I think this is a terrible situation all around. Those poor horses. The scary part, this is a breeder that frequents this board that many of us have conversed with. So, always be careful who you allow to ca...

Yeah, I know the price of show hunters these days. It is getting ridiculous. The worst part about it is that a good majority of these kids can't even ride these top notch horses that have been bought for them. The ad I am talking about has the horse listed for 85,000 and then states in the paragraph...

Probably a misprint but, with the going rate now between 20-40 cents a pound for horse flesh I don't know. Have you seen the horse listed for $85,000? It's a hunter, can't remember if it was a TB or AQHA. Now that definetly is a typo. I think I saw it on equine hits. It has been there for awhile now...

Got a new foster guy in around Christmas last year. We started calling him FNG for fu....ing new guy. He was in such bad shape that one day I was talking to the vet and he said" boy, he has a lot going on" I said" Yeah He's a Trainwreck". Well, we then changed his barn name to, you guessed it....Tra...

Do yourself a big favor and check out http://www.chronicleforums.com and search ulcers. There is a wealth of info there concerning ulcers and their treatment. Gastroguard is expensive and if I was going to go that route I would buy the ulcergard. It is the same med, if made here in the states,except...

Lindros, Speak to me about Rice Bran
Our feed mill has just started carrying this in pellet form. Have a TB boy that needs a plumping. Might this help?
