OK I found out that the pedigree is this Whitelock horse 1851 by Ratan 1841 x Miss Martin (St Martin) Sire and dam appear to be in the database. The entry shows the screen where it looks as if it has been accepted, but gives the link to edit the 'new' dam pedigree. Changing the info (saying mare is ...

I don't know the dam yet, but Whitelock won the 1855 Northumberland Plate

I need to be able to do this because I messed up the 1855 entry on the race winners list

I need to correct it.

When I enter it I get the message that it was successful, but it hasn't entered.
