How many yearlings were profitable so far in the Jan. sale(criteria I use is 2 times the stud fee plus 5,000 for costs)? Such rules for defining profitability are mathematically suspect if not completely illogical. A yearling by a stud commanding a $150k stud fee that sells for $300k is thus deemed...

Looking at the mare's record, I'd say this is a breed to race operation. Doesn't look like anything from this family has seen a ring in a couple generations. Yes, you may get a 'nice return' on foals from a $20k stud fee... if they are lookers and you dump them early. I don't see that being likely....

Hank Goldberg, while he may be the charming life of the party off camera, on camera he presents himself as nothing less than a blithering fool. Anyone unfortunate enough to be in audio range of his semi-incoherent ramblings, cruelly extended with awkwards pauses, certainly cringe at what must be con...
...I think Holy Bull's problem is that he was TOO much of an outcross for a lot of the currently fashionable lines, and the one strain he could be expected to "like" was a buzzkill (In Reality). Most of the In Reality-breds from Holy Bull were too unsound to run. Macho Uno may or may not have that ...
