Two of the stallions I liked in this price range were High Yield and Champali.

High Yields stud fee has dropped to $15000. Does anyone know of a problem. His yearlings seemed to sell in Sept.

Champali was a tough racehorse. Does he have enough breeding to be commercial?

I believe everyone helps put on the show and they should all benefit from the use of their images. Most backstretch workers would love to have the same benefits the jockeys have now. Most of these workers are lucky to have $3000 worth of benefits provided by their HPBA and/or horsemens health organi...

LSB Thank you for your answer. I have bred to Marquetry and Sky Classic. The other two stallions are always on my list of probables. I like these and several other less commercial stallions because they give me a runner and the chance at a big horse. The few times I have bred just to sell I sold the...

Thank you all for the ideas and the kind words. I'm still looking at some Sadlers Wells sons for Isadora. Does anybody else like Milwaukee Brew. I liked his looks but I'm unsure about a Wild Again On a slightly different subject. Why is the first question always are you breeding to race or sell. Sho...

A few words about New Vocations. I am a breeder and a trainer. I love new Vocations. They find quality homes for my ex-racehorses and do a great follow up. They find better homes than I can find selling these horses I pay to van them to New Vocations and usually send a months board for the horses th...

What I saw and liked included Tactical Cat, Johar, Sligo Bay, Milwaukee Brew, Olmodavor, and Champali. I liked The Cliffs Edge buy didn't think he coould work with my ma...

Thanks for the Yes its True idea. I will definately look at him next week. I have trained some Is It True horses and found them to be very sound solid runners even thoughthey were not out of very good mares.

Thanks again for all the selection ideas and the whys. I hope the racing scene is quiet enough that I can go to Ky. next week. I will definately be looking at Tactical Cat for Princess and Jump Start for Isadora if he is available. Do you have any thoughts on Perfect Soul? He might be a nice Sadlers...

Thank you for all the kind comments on my mares. They wre great fun to race and I think if I choose the right stallions they will produce good runners. Both mares were very sound as race horses, they have good bone. Princess toes in slightly. So far the foals have been correct, but late maturing. Th...

I would like the foals to be commercial. I wanted to spend $20000 or less if possible. Ms Eloise died last year and is buried at Lochness farm where she lived for many years. I also like Belong to Me. Do you think the only way to be really commercial without going to a big horse is using new stallio...
