I agree,it is not the best picture, and he is not stood up to his best advantage, but he is an attractive horse. He also has a very interesting pedigree, with some very good performance TB names, including Nasrullah, Princequillo, inbred to Royal Charger, Sir Ivor, Turn to, etc. I'd like to see a be...

Will he be standing to TB mares only, by LC, or will you also be providing shipped semen?

LEGACY IN GOLD: http://www.pedigreequery.com/legacy+in+gold I like the doubling up of Princequillo, plus Turn-to and Somethingroyal in his pedigree. These are good 'sport' TB ancestors as well as important race ancestors. I asked this question on another thread (and got rudely jumped on) bu...

No one knows for sure where the cream gene came from. Theories include a fence jumping QH, strong selection against the "golden" palomino, so that the only cream carriers are the very dark versions, and some chance mutations. Don't know if any lab has looked at the cream mutation to see if all the ...

I'm assuming Milky was a palomino? Does anyone know where his dilute gene came from?

We are very lucky where I am to have plentiful, excellent hay this year, lots very good first cut, and it looks like a great 2nd cut. The good news about the 2nd cup being plentiful is that the dairy farmers prefer that, so that frees up their 1st cut. I think we might well get a 3rd cut here! :D I'...

Was Medaille D'Or the foal Fanfreluche was carrying when she went "missing"? Most of you are probably too young to remember that, but it was big news here in Canada. Outstanding Cdn race mare in foal to the great Secretariat....goes missing...

I agree that sometimes the racing TB stallion fees may be a bit high. But often what happens when a horse is no longer 'hot' as a racing sire, his stud fee drops markedly. When Spectacular Bid stood in NY his stud fee was very affordable. I think it might have been $2000 (but I could be mistaken) As...

ah yes, I have shipped horses in to and from FLA, VA, PA, MD, KY etc,
but I bet Montana is not quite as popular a route as ON to KY or FLA.
