It would be possible to get a horse with both champagne and dun, as the genes are located on different loci. As for how champagne+dun on chestnut/sorrel would look, I'd assume it'd be rather similar to a dunalino, since champage on chestnut gets a gold champage, which looks rather like a palomino. S...

Yes they did. August 28th issue, page 4546, although the bulge in the neck in not as prominent and the angle and light is different. Both pictures were by Benoit & Assoc. One other interesting thing is on the cover of B-H it shows a deep hole where the neck bulge should be. That horse has some ...

Here's a picture just a little bit later in the race from the Blood-Horse: http://racing.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=23975 I'm not finding any other pictures of the Pacific Classic, but he doesn't appear to be all swollen in the one from the B-H like he does on the cover of the TB Times... Weird.
