Iavarone is as horrible as Dutrow, maybe worse. Keep in mind he's already been through one trainer prior to Dutrow and knew nothing about horses being drugged. Dumped him to take the rap and moved on to Dutrow. If Iavarone and crew feel the need to leave Dutrow holding the bag and move on the next t...

Like you, I'll believe that he runs again when I see it, and not before.
Oh, this rap sheet is the stuff he didn't get away with.
I suspect that there is plenty more that he hasn't been caught for than the stuff he has, but I can't prove it. Doesn't mean I'm not suspicious as all get out because I didn't fall off the turnip truck ...

"If you believe Dutrow ever stopped any steriods that he was giving Big Brown between the Derby, and Belmont, I need your checking account number so I can wire you in a million dollars for a lottery you won in Switzerland." I don't believe anything Dutrow says, so I agree with you that he didn't sto...

I doubt they will run him again. Too risky that he may turn in another clinker and be worth even less than he is after the Belmont. I think they will come up with some excuse to retire him. All the talk about running against Curlin is a joke IMO.

At least Kaplan had the sense to scratch him. Kind of in over his head with Bennie the Bull and Thor's Echo. Guess he had no desire to be embarrassed two days in a row after running Imawildandcrazyguy yesterday and finishing 45 lengths out of it.

"His feet. The TC schedule. is trainer's very big mouth. The heat and humidity. A rough trip early, and a 6 wide trip. Had he won it he was running atleast 2+ miles to do it." I have to agree with Tucumcari's quote above, and add perhaps a letdown from the withdrawal of steroids, plus the fact that ...

I got my first trainer's license at Keeneland in the early '70's. Was absolutely petrified, knew nobody, was just a girl in my early 20's. I remember they asked me how many furlongs were in a mile? What would I consider a "good" time for a 6 furlong race? What do you call the spongy part of a horse'...

I would never recommend that anyone get involved in racing, not even on the bottom end, unless you have plenty of $ and LOVE owning horses that don't make you a dime, not to mention make their keep. I would never recommend a partnership for someone starting out in racing. It's too easy to get taken,...

If I were one of those 418 new owners, I would want him sold at auction in order to know that he was selling for market value, not some deal made by Jackson, et.al., with a bunch of lawyers behind closed doors. Actually, if I were one of the 418 new owners, I'd want a breeding share, but I wouldn't ...

Mood Swings, I have been a lurker here for quite awhile and want to tell you how bad I feel for you and your Ralphie. And for you too, TB Dreamin'. It is such a painful thing to lose a homebred foal. I know your heart is broken and there is nothing anyone can say or do to make it better. Just know t...
