Hauling - NM to CA

Have room for up to four horses for a trip on the weekend of 2/24.

Price will depend on how many and how complicated your pickup and delivery is... I will be passing Zia, Sunland, Phoenix, then into S. Cal.

May have room for one more coming back.

Thanks!

Trailer space to CA

Hi everyone,

I'll be heading to Southern CA in mid-late January and have space available in the trailer. Am leaving from New Mexico, passing through El Paso area and then through Phoenix prior to hitting S. Cal.

Thanks.

Empty trailor going to CA from NM.

One of these weeks, I'm not sure exactly when, I'll be doing a round trip to CA. I can take horses from Southern NM or Az to Cali.

If you want to send something that way, and aren't picky about the date - PM me. Price will be right! 8)

NM fires out.

The NM fire is out. It was under control and out by Monday. Was probably about 8 miles N of the farm, but no smoke near the farm. I would have written earlier, but am not looking at the forum all that often. The very dry weather is making life very scarey in NM/TX right now. Let's hope for a good ra...

Setting the record straight

Walter Willy was quite difficult. He was probably abused at some point, which we theorize was in France. I say that because I know and respect those that handled him in the US. Fact - He was owned by exactly two (2) owners in the USA. Fact - I stood him for 4 years, the last 2 at my farm near Sacram...

Rest of the Story

Thunder - Thanks! :D Nijinski - Our farm in CA is for sale. Would be nice to get it sold - help the cash flow (mostly going out right now) you know... We lost Walter Willy due to a brain Hemmorage shortly after the hottest July in recorded history in Sacramento. Very sad - We loved his foals. I don'...

Bestbandintheland

Well - I guess I'm a bit slow on this... I own Windsor Farms with my wife. We are very excited to be standing Bestband! He's a great looking horse, about 16.2 hands, and very flashy. He does have white spots here and there and will certainly pass on some interesting markings! He could run a bit too....

Thanks for being positive!

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome to our new home! Plus thanks to all who PM'd me about stallions. I have had some interesting contacts, and will be trying to get at least one Well Known stud, plus am open to opportunities with lessor known or young studs who match up well for NM. Please no one t...

Morning Glory's

This is really a great topic! I have, BTW, had similar problems with colts and geldings, but it does seem that fillies are more the "moody" type. Think about this - A horse can only go as fast as their talent lets them. So if they have talent in the morning, then at least you know they have talent! ...

New Farm in New Mexico

As our first public announcement - I thought I'd say it here. Windsor Thoroughbreds in CA is moving to New Mexico, and will re-open as Windsor Farms! We will breed TB's and QH's for racing. The new location is in Lovington, about 20 minutes from the new track, Zia Park in Hobbs. We will do breeding,...

Sounds like your're making progress so don't get impatient. When weaning time comes, if you wean this one to a stall he will after some time be looking for companionship and will be more receptive. I had a very wild filly a couple years ago, and told my daughter to go sit in the corner with a book. ...

If you are in California, you should join the CTBA, and you'll get the magazine subsciption with your membership. It is highly rated, and a good resource for CA breeding.
