I've lived in Paris off and on for the last two years. I never said the palace was on Champs Elysees. I was just pointing out that Parisians will use the singular Elysee when referring to both the champs and the palace. That's just fact. Elysee is an acceptable reference to both locations. If you're...

It's pronounced shahn-zay-lee-zay. And Elysee is acceptable and means the same thing. The singular Elysee is usually in reference to the Elysee Palace, which is the French equivalent of the White House. Although you will often hear Parisians refer to the champs the same way. And as far as CE being a...

Probably not, especially if you were planning on running the foal in NA. The foal would be at a disadvantage because of the age restriction and difference in breeding season down there. So you would lose time and racing options with the foal. It's also been my experience that good South American fil...

It's also worth mentioning Holy Bull's best have been complete outcrosses for 5 generations, as a general rule. I always skip a Holy Bull at a sale that has any inbreeding within 5. As an aside, the affinity KimberleyMine points out is even broader when discussing Tartan lines in general. They almos...

What exactly do you see in the damline that's so special? The only foal worth anything his dam threw was him. His 2nd dam threw absolutely nothing of note. His 3rd dam Lilt was one of the weakest producing daughters of the good Swoons Tune. And while you can make a case for Cormorant being a good re...

He's a better stallion than given credit for. He could be a very nice addition to a roster for someone.

The Gone West filly is a GREAT looking girl. They just decided to pinhook her in October because she was progressing so nicely and so fast which is why I bailed. I think she will be a great buy for whoever gets her on the track and in the shed. Amazing pedigree.

Hey Dray, its been a while  It was great to see Diplomat Lady win. Pete pretty much touched on everything I would have stated and he did a much better job than I ever could in the translation. My big thing is dont grow sentimental feelings to the stock you purchase (unless you can afford takin...

Not to undermine the quality of your friend's mare but Pollard's Vision is still open for good quality mares. We just booked a multiple stakes-placed maiden to him yesterday and at a deal. But for the record, he has been well-recieved so im sure he's close to being "full".

He's been working for about 2 weeks down in Florida. They seem to be taking their time with him and not blowing him out during the works which is nice to see. He could be a very welcomed addition in the Handicap ranks if he moves forward off of last year.

Now I normally am in agreeance with everything you usually have an opinion about on this board but Toussaud at 2 million tops? WHAT?!?!?! Ticket to Houston, a 12 yo Houston mare sold for 2mil today with a multiple G2 winner and one other stakes winner to her credit. Wife for Life, an 11 yo Dynaforme...
