I haven`t checked this thread for a while, but would still appreciate if you could tell me some words or sayings I could have use for in my story/script. I know you weigh in before a race, and you weigh out after a race, right? If there is a difference, you get disqualified? Something else happens? ...

If you can write a few words and saying I could have use for, I would appreciate it.

Are there any special words used in horseracing that I should know about?

I`m sure it depends on the horse and the trainer. But some people maybe think a horse shouldn´t race more than once a month or that it should be at least two weeks between races.
I´m not sure how important that is for my story, but...

So... Maryland, Kentucky, New York or Illinois.
