The props all passed so it's wait and see for both Hollypark and Bay Meadows. But if Terry Fancher (BM Land) was willing to put up millions to defeat the gaming props which was a gamble on their part, I've got to think racing has a chance to continue at both venues. Their is a possibility that some sort of revenue sharing or mitigation will occur in the future now that the props war has ended for now.
I doubt that the Indians want to fork over another 100 plus million to ensure further gaming expansion in the state. This is probably as good a time as ever for both sides to make nice. Mitigation makes sense.

Sell the tracks to the indians, or make them a partner. Slots will be right behind. But slots haven't done much for the face of racing except make it even dirtier.
