If you look at Soul Of The Matter and Afternoon Deelites pedigrees who both go back to Loyal Ruler are both by Private Terms who was not a top stallion at siring millionaires. Heartlight No. One was champion three year old filly by Rock Talk who was also not a top sire. Some of Burt Bacharachs best runners go back to these two mares. If you look at Big Brown's pedigree there are not alot of good runners in his female line. It just goes to show you that you can get runners from stallions that are not top sires. I just thought it was interesting with the mixture of Damascus and Round Table which you also see in Big Browns pedigree. Big Brown is line bred Round Table and Icantell is by Tell who is line bred on Round Table's dam Knight's Daughter.

Was happy to see you bring up Icantell. We had her daughter, Liba's Choice here on the farm until she passed away this spring. We now have a nice yearling colt by Indian Express...Indian Express is out of Liba's Choice. The Indian Express colt named Kasserine, is out of a Blade mare so the colt is carrying 2 x's to Round Table, plus Monarchy and *Love Game.

Anyway, thank you for bringing up Incantell/Loyal Ruler. Might mention too, we picked up a nice daughter of Tell this year named Adorable Tease. In fact, of the 17 horses on the farm, only one has no Round Table close up. That mare being by Cozzene and tail-female to the Goody Two Shoes clan via Vali.
