What are Bold Executive broodmares worth?
One that has no race record due to injury
but offspring are at the track and one offspring has raced Maiden Special Weight and is "staked" for 09?

Is she the big grey? If so I really like her and if I did not have too many broodies I would take her myself.

Ask Colterjohn at Gardiners. He could give you a rough idea. :)

If it is the Splendor of Gold mare you have mentioned before, the distaff side of her pedigree kills her commercial appeal. No black type and little production.

Dont you think this post should be in another section maybe under stallions/or mating advice

dunno 'bout that... you might be correct. I was merely responding to the original poster.

If you think it's in the wrong folder, please feel free to petition one of the moderators and have it moved. Seems to have worked well for me :)

I'm learning the ways of this board, but why would this need to be moved? The original question was about value of the mare and if she has no bottom line (no black type, no production record) isn't that just answering the question of value. Little to none as a broodmare? Why would this need to be moved to another section when no suggestions were made?

Welcome to the board here....

I should probably explain that I THINK that the suggestion to move it was a little jab at me because I have been vocal about having the horse rescue threads moved to that section. Irene might have just been suggesting consistency in process and pointing out that I wasn't being fair, but I agree that the original poster was asking about the value of a broodmare.

THANKS!

for sales.... You can breed to race, but realize that there is no market for her foals. Her catalog page is just too light.
