What a great horse with tremendous speed. He'll be missed by many.

Chinook Pass was a great horse. Wow, he survived 31 years. That's something.

I got to spend some time again with Chinook 3 weeks before his passing, It took a little while to get it posted, but here is the story:

I saw Jill again yesterday at a book signing with Lynn Reardon, author of Beyond the Backstretch at the Quarter Chute Cafe at Emerald Downs.

They had a breakfast honoring Chinook the weekend before, and there are some more photos posted on their facebook page by Duane Hamamura:
