.. I find enjoyment in her crazy fans. I appreciate their dedication to her following, but I really think some of them need medication..

http://www.zenyatta.com/news/diary-post-237

On this rainy, dreary day. I find enjoyment in the fact I have not told a horse today I never met I am in-love with them, or would like to nap in a stall and cuddle with them..

because honestly I think it maybe too smelly for my standards..I don't care what racehorse you are/were.

rave on Zen Loonies.. you make my day!

How about this one:

Went on my computer to watch the rest of your piece on 60 Minutes, which was rudely interrupted by the news of Bin Laden’s death. Had tears in my eyes as you are such a wonderful girl! I love you with all of my heart and wish I could see you in person! Have a great time with your people, and enjoy Derby Week! Who do you want to win the Derby???

Honestly, some people are over the top on this. Rudely interrupted?? Good grief....

yes, and I'm sure the same person flight schedule was so "rudely interrupted" by the devistation on 9/11.

I would not want to go and lie down and nap with my mare either although she'd probably lie down next to me and put her head in my lap while searching for carrots....

Those are some seriously delusional people... all the people talking about their miscarriages and telling her that it's g-d's plan is just, well, scary.

These groupies are a loonier lot than the Princess Diana groupies.

They make the thirty-year-old loners who hide in their moms' basement bedrooms playing video games seem almost normal.

I wonder if any one of them have ever touched a real horse. I also wonder if they realize the real Zenyatta (yes, the horse, ie, livestock) doesn't have any concept of this silliness? That her life consists of eating, drinking, sleeping, pooping, stall, field, etc.

I don't think spending time with your horse is a bad thing.. I'm a looney tune who remembers animal birthdays before people birthdays.. but I'm not hiring party planners or anything..

And I don't think this is much different than fawning over a rockstar or celebrity (of the human sort) but it is a HORSE.. Cree is right - LIVESTOCK.. They dont know when to get out of the rain, nevermind care that it has facebook fans. If everyone of those soccer moms gave a $1.00 to a charity like Old Friends "for" Zenyatta I would be a lot less criticle, but they sit there telling stories about crying, and miscarriages, and meeting the foal in heaven and it's redonk-ulous!

Here, here Crystal!!!

They are the most crazy looney folks I've ever see write anything! I actually feel embarrassed for Zenyatta. I actually read on there one time that one lady's uterus was hurting because Zenyatta slipped! OMG!!! I hope that someone is watching over those posts, they are beyond outrageous.

Your idea about the sending $1 to Old Friends for Zenyatta is a PERFECT idea.

Sometimes I will post something on there to just get them riled up and they start crying more...shame, shame on me!!! LOL

How bout we do post that over there, everyone that loves Zenyatta, send a dollar, or five, or even ten, depending on how devoted they are, to Old Friends. Only you will have to tell them that they can sign the card "Love from Zenyatta" so they can continue to think she writes, talks, reads, all that stuff.

It would be a good thing, and maybe we can get some dough out of the nutcases for a good cause. ????

Gotta look up Old Friends address.......anyone, can you help? My computer ready to crash on me again in a few minutes ugh

does it make you feel superior when you bash people like this?

these people are not hurting anyone or anything and if you don't like what they are writing don't pull it up and read it.

Well we know that someone on here is one of those crying posters over there.

FYI, the reason I would check it out is to try to get some REAL information, perhaps some new photos, etc. on Zenyatta. Its the weirdo
posters that we have spoke of that unforunately makes it quite a bit over done.

Sorry.

I find it ironic and terribly telling that some of you have nothing better to do than to make fun of Zenyatta's fans! Have you checked out Istabraq's Facebook page, Mucho Macho Man, Dialed In, Animal Kingdom!!!! Makybe Diva checks in quite frequently and posts info she thinks everyone should know. And, then, there's Black Caviar....she posts quite a lot, too.

Zenyatta started it all and has led the way to building a fan base, which the sport desperately needs. She has even been given credit for some of the recent renewed interest in the sport, including the record number at the Derby. Her fan base is growing at the rate of about 1200 fans a week to nearly 84,000 Facebook fans currently. That is some serious success! Especially since she has been off the track 6 months, and when most broodmares are retired to near obscurity, her star keeps rising and shining ever brighter.

Do you watch silly reality shows? How about some really inane soap operas? Really, get a life if you can't find anything better to do than pick on a few fans having some innocent fun. It is part of the social networking phenomena, and people know they aren't talking to a real horse, for pete's sake! Jeeez....get over it and move on. You are the ones who need medication and some serious therapy! You should be ashamed of yourselves for being so petty and just plain mean!

P.S. Someone said they were actually embarrassed for Zenyatta!!! Really? Now that's food for thought. LOL
