Seeking Farm to Leg Up a Couple of Two Year Olds

Postby madelyn » Tue Oct 09, 2012 12:40 pm

I am looking for farms recommended by people who have actually used them, who do a good job breaking/legging up two year olds. My client is in the Northeast and wants to send one or two somewhere for Nov Dec Jan and maybe Feb - so seeking someone in the southeast Atlantic (NC, SC, etc.)

Recommendations anyone? TIA

So you have sent them young horses and been really thrilled with the results? What did they charge?

FWIW, I have not sent them a horse, but I have a Webb Carroll graduate, and I hope that she is the exception to their program. I spent a very long time when I got her teaching her things she should have learned earlier during her time there... I prefer a smaller operation that gives more attention to my horses.

thanks starlit, that is why I am looking for recommendations from people who have actually written checks to have horses trained and been happy with the results.
