I am psyched and scared. My goal is to have success so I can invest more money and maybe be a full owner at some point. But I'll make a lot of remote decisions. I'm allergic to horses!!
Congratulations and stock uo on Claritin.
Somebody bet on the gray!

The others are '13 Naughty Natisha, i.e. a full brother to Naughty New Yorker
and '13 On Me, by Malibu Moon. He is both big and young, May foal, so he's hanging out on a farm for a bit, and the NN colt is training in FL.

Googled but can't find out the purpose of Banamine before shipping? FL to NY. Also received tube with mineral oil and electrolytes. Did she colic? Or was this to prevent?

Hi Toccet,
Banamine, mineral oil tubing and electrolytes is a common combo to ward off dehydration, impaction colic and shipping fever over the long haul. The Banamine is multiple purpose, it is a muscle relaxant (for possible colic in this case), fever reducer and anti-inflammatory. The fever reducing ability is to ward off occasional shipping fever sometimes occuring after a long van ride. Combined with electrolytes to remain properly hydrated through the trip (to prevent impaction) and the mineral oil also a preventative to keep the horse from binding up. The van company's used by these guys are the best....they do a great job. Usually Sallee, Brookledge or Lorraine. They are very competent and usually have a handler on board if the trainer didn't send one along. Do you know where they're sending her? TJ
Re: I'm finally a part owner
They had sent her to Aqueduct right after the sale. Ocala April 2YOIT. OK thanks; it's what I thought but of course all web references point to calamity . . .

Thanks, Ben. They just posted the Preakness pedigree article on the website today, and I'll be doing the Belmont pedigree profile as well.

Hope you have a great trip Toccet!

Re: I'm finally a part owner
Actually you're not an owner until you've looked at a bill and scratched your head and thought what ???!!???

Congrats on becoming an owner Toccet02! Hope to hear more posts in the future!
Re: I'm finally a part owner
The Uncle Mo/Alys filly has been named Modiste. She's up to working 5/8, and doing well.
Malibu Moon/On Me just can't seem to get a name approved. Rejected: Waves (my submission!) and Lean On Me. He just moved into Aqueduct from FL.
No word on Quiet American/Naughty Natisha. Down in Florida. He's a "two-turn horse".
Laughing guy in here because my daughter Rachael wanted me to put him in!
