Easiest way to do an avatar is to save it as a .gif and constrain the dimensions.

Cool avatar, Sam -- maybe your alien just wants to stop in at Pat O'Brien's for a Hurricane? Gotta have one of those souvenir glasses even if you don't drink!

All right, I think I've worked something out. Thanks for the hints, gang.

M have you tried resizing it? Feel free to email it to me and I will try to resize it, just let me know the file size it has to be. Thanks

Jessi

8) Thank you, Ma'am.

To be perfectly honest, that alien was only part of the reason I swiped that pic from the WWN. What you CAN'T see (or maybe you can, but it's difficult) is the bimbo at the top and the headline next to her -- "HUGE HOLLYWOOD BUST; FBI SEIZES COUNTERFEIT BREAST IMPLANTS"

Being a true X-Phile -- that was just enough to send me into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. I meant to buy a copy when I first saw it ... never got around to it.

Now, of course you KNOW I have a properly sized pic of KKris hiding on my PC ... Miles activated this thing before I could get to it and I'm on the main house PC because I trashed my printer a few months ago.

Makes he want to visit less all the different pages an scrolling around to see whats new.
you could make 24 categories a-z starts with A put it there.

Just stick with this for a few days before dismissing it totally. I think you'll find more meaningful discussions going on in some of the side categories as topics don't get shuffled onto sub pages. I'm willing to switch back if this doesn't work out too.

As you can see, I did get it resized with a little tinkering. At least I know what it is if no one else does! Thanks for the offer.

Sam.

I don't think we could have expected anything different from you.

Just out of technical curiosity, how'd you wrangle a pic larger than 100 x 100? Hmmm? Maybe that's not a linear measurement. Hmmm.

The avatar feature on the Allbreed board and I are having a ... difference of opinion ... at the moment. Soon as I figure out what it is that's ticking me off over there, all of this is going to get flipped to that site and I'll flip this one back to normal (and load the KKris pic).

Besides, Miles did say he wanted to see who could come up with the best avatar .. though I dig that horse's nose.

Actually, I should test that KKris shot and make sure it works at least.

Me personally? I throw things at Sid and have her do it. She said something about saving it as a .gif and restricting the size points up to her post though I've not figured out how.

And all this time I thought the Avatar referred to on the profiles was the 1972 son of Graustark-Brown Berry who won the 1975 Belmont. I need to get out more.

I don't know what's going on at the All Breed site with those avitars. Needs some attention from Brad or Miles, but so far no response. I will keep trying to get their attention.
