Hallo,
more or less accidently I came across a still existing St. Simon Sire Line, I haven't seen mentioned in an publication I know.

And Here it is:
Uludag (2004) - Gabion ( 1984) - Aden (1975) - Derzkij (1954) - Duglas (1944) - Granit (1930) - Tagor (1915) - Floreal (1908) - Florizel (II)(1891)
St. Simon (1881)

Best regards, Bettina

That is a rare one wow! I wonder how many stallions from old rare bloodlines exist in out of the way places nowadays?

Wow, I thought the Black Toney sireline was extinct. Apparently this guy is being used as a sporthorse sire.

If the Black Toney line is not extinct, it isn't living through Jamie's Mandate. He was gelded this past fall.

Take a look at the year of birth of the broodmares appearing in the lower half of the following pedigree. Quite interesting.

Teddy SireLine

Postby Bettina » Sun Dec 06, 2009 6:23 am

Hallo, Jorge,
in my home country the Tedy Sireline was extend for several generation until the 1970's - 80's, but seems to be extinct.

And here there are:
Windwurf - Kaiseradler - Nebelwerfer - Magnat - Asterus - Teddy
Lombard - Agio - Tantieme - Deux-pour-Cent - Deiri - Aethelstan - Teddy
Windwurf turned out as good Brodmare Sire.
Lombard had several sons at stud (see Seratino, Shepard), but weren't widely used by German breeders or were sent abroad (Anno/ than Czechoslovakia, Boxberger Speed/The Netherlands).

Best regards, Bettina

Apropos other European countries, who knows if hidden tail-male-lineage treasures can still be brought up, including the Teddy line. Perhaps some of our readers can assist us here.

I wasn't aware of any young actively breeding "Domino" sireline stallions but Cor Magnifique 2000 is at stud in Georgia for serious sport horse breeders/eventers.

Sadly, we just lost this guy in Ireland for the Tourbillon line fans:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/master+imp

He does have a full TB stallion standing at the same stud but haven't got around to getting the info on the mare he is out of. Still one of the few Tourbillon line stallions still going.
