OK Ok I think I have tortured you guys long enough. "Wild Deputy" is coming to town. He should be a fantastic regional sire for our area. He has kids going both long and short so I imagine he will be good for both our bull ring and the Alberta set.

He is up to 2.6 mil in sire earnings and the most important part is that his temperment is passing on to the majority of his kidlets. I have heard one or two horror stories but that isnt so bad. I have only seen a few photos of him and he sure looks manly! I'm so used to Mr.T's classic elegant look, it will be interesting getting used to a solid boy LOL. Interstingly I have alot of quarter horse people inquiring about Wild Deputy. I dont know anything about quarter horse racing. What would the interest in him be? Is there a horse in his pedigree that the AQHA people use alot? I'm baffled but pleasantly so :)

OH KAT!!

Congrats... you must be so happy. He's a graded stakes performer from an tremendous female family! YAY YOU!

Now, as for quarter horse breeding..... I would assume they want the brilliant speedy blocky types. I'm not sure that's what I see in the pedigree, but he was a good 6 furlong horse. Try it!

Again, well done and have fun!

StealingKat,

That image of the qtuip... it reminded me of a girl in my grade 1 class... I remember paying attention to the teacher when she tapped my shoulder, as I turned around she had two pencils up her noise and said "look at me I'm a Walrus" hahahahahhahaha (I think her name was Allison)..
