Thank you everybody! Please forgive me for not responding individually -- things are a bit hectic here (in a wonderful sort of way :D :D :D ).

We are all peachy - Mallory is doing super, continuing to eat well and having longer awake periods. I haven't yet been overwhelmed by the lack of sleep yet, fortunately she is sleeping fairly well so far.

Dylan is adjusting well - he is trying so hard to be good, he just isnt sure yet exactly what "good" consists of with regards to a 6 lb squeaky "toy" that he wants to cuddle and hug.

Darren is a bit overwhelmed at the moment, the dear man. He had 2 horses in Monday night, in races 7 and 9. Cut a Wager ran in the 9th at 10:28 (Jen was in the same race with her and can most likely vouch for the fact that Darren was indeed there saddling the horses  ). It was about 11:15 when I called Darren and mentioned he might not want to waste a lot of time getting home (in other words "Get those horses cooled out, done up, fed and get home!!!!") and all hell broke loose from that point on. Fortunately we live 3 miles from the track, less than 2 miles from a hospital and the babysitter who watched the older kids for us lives only 2 blocks away. We pulled into the ER at 11:55.... Mallory was born at 12:20, before the on-call Obstetrician made it to the hospital, and less than 2 hours after our last horse had raced that evening. Very exciting, all in all, and Darren (God love him) didnt pass out or wreck on the way there. He did almost drive INTO the ER instead of just up to the door LOL.

Pics are online at http://community.webshots.com/album/203562553PGoGbW in case anyone would like to take a gander! More pics to come this evening hopefully.

Thanks again for all the kind thoughts and congratulations, it means the world to all of us.

Jessi, Darren, Joey, Lauren, Dylan, and Mallory

What a wonderful addition to your family -- and she photographs well already!
