That picture is hysterical! As far as being not funny.... I'm sure we all have tons of stories about potentially terrible things that didn't happen to our horses... once everyone is ok, sometimes you just can't help but laugh. I myself once owned the mellowest TB that ever existed. A fellow rider told me she found my mare standing alone in the corner of the paddock by the trees. Turned out she had gotten her HEAD STUCK between the tree and a thick vine wrapped around it. Instead of freaking out and breaking her neck like any other horse would, she calmly waited there all night and waited for someone to rescue her. At three years old, I might add. Sometimes the 'tradgedies that weren't' end up being really funny stories-- and we end up learning what
not to do.
On another note,
LOL! I had a cat run through the house with one of those plastic grocery bags around her shoulders (both front legs...don't ask me HOW she did it!) It looked like a parachute She kept hissing at it and what I call growl-howling.
My cat climbs into the bag, sticks her head thru the handle part, and tears around the house. When she loses the bag, she goes back and picks it up again...
