To Shammy: If a Blue Hen is found in the 7th generation and has not produced the like beget like in her succeding generations, it is time to abandon the ship.

If the Blue Hen in the 7th generation produces her like in the succeding generations then this is a positive. When the fallow generation appears without the Blue Hens or superior producers being produced, it can come back in later generations.

When you research the Blue Hens you will find that the above will apply to the Blue Hens families. You just have to hope you purchase the next Blue Hen when the fallow generation has passed.
