Allyssa - Great photos and I have to say I also enjoyed reading your blog postings on "Contact"....great insight from the 'learner' side of training to one who is most often not in contact and struggles to achieve some semblance of contact it seems at all times I am riding!

Thanks Shannon and jellac! I was very fortunate to be able to go to Kentucky. I live in California so it was quite a trip, but worth it. Lexington is absolutely beautiful, and full of horses!
jellac, I am glad you found my blog interesting...contact is so frustrating! Too much, too little, it's very hard to get it right. My trainer says that contact and shoulder-in are the hardest things to teach people. My horse takes a beautiful contact-IF I get it right, so I know when I'm messing up! I think I've gotten better since those posts, I will have to get some more pictures to see how we look. :)
