Hey now... don't knock the Personal Flag mare's offspring... if they get $95,000 it might help my cause, ha ha! Pete, I would think with the name Pete's Flair, you'd be a little more partial to her...

More Starquine gems:
Tiger Ridge filly that was hip #549 at the 2005 Fasig Tipton May 2YO sale. RNA'd at 20k, now listed on Starquine for 75k.

Training Time:Timonium, slow track, went 11-1
Top selling point: Not one conformation deficit in this filly. She's built like a racehorse, and moves well. No quirks and no vices

I'm pretty sure the birthdate on the Mt. Livermore foal is a typo as my mare was turned out with its dam when she got to KY and that was in Feb and neither mare had foaled. As for the prices on the Arundel horses I think most of them are coming out of the dissolving of a partnership and Arundel is not setting the prices, the owners are. Plus, as BJ said so eloquently value is in the eye of the beholder. My dad purchased a really well known quarter horse mare back in the '80's sight unseen (she'd been lighting up some futurities) when my dad saw her he about had a heart attack (hair coat turned inside out and just hideous). He immediately resold her for 4 times what he paid to another guy who was pleased as punch to have her despite her looks. Go figure! That mare turned out to be a hell of a producer.

Would you pay £800 for a grandson of mill reef?
The dog is man's best freind but the horse made history
