I see said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw for the very first time!

I guess it is because she is very sweet, emphasis on sweet, mare.

mare 200K

Postby mini's mom » Mon Sep 18, 2006 6:44 pm

for 200k you don't even get a pedigree - did she make that at the track - nice mare but I don'tthink that she is worth 200k - might try the sale in the fall to get that for her

She is not NEARLY as impressive as the one I saw several months ago who was selling for $1000.00 or thereabouts and one of the attributes listed was that she had "soft fur" ...

Now - I dont know about any of you, but I would be willing to pay a DEFINATE premium for a mare with "soft fur" ...

Maybe this one has super soft fur.
Thats why shes higher priced. Kind of like an alpaca.

Additional Comments:
Very sweet Filly just off the track looking for a good home. Sound with no vices. She is beginning training and is a quick learner. Great project horse for someone who wants just a nice horse to be around.

(Dunno if anyone saw that, but yeah. So I guess she is from the track, thus her high price.)

Lmao...My new kitten's got really soft fur...she's tiny and makes cute noises. Think I could swing $50,000 for her? Taking her size into account here...

well, is your kitten sweet and a quick learner? You would have to consider that also.

Yup - I try to pay a minimum of 200k for my project horses (including the soft fur tax)

Maybe we can start of this new area in TB breeding..you know how they have color breeders? Sabino, etc? How about TBs with really soft fur, in a variety of colors of course.

PS. I found my Christmas present if anyone's interested. http://www.gobaz.com/detprod.asp?ProdCode=4472

PPS. Whatever you do, do NOT google "furry horses" and look at the images. Me = scarred for life.
