Am I missing something here? $55,000?

Or did they add an extra zero?

Pretty horse from what I can see but I'm not sure these bloodlines would have brought more than the upset price at the most recent Ocala sale...

This is the kind of colt you have to PAY a trainer to take, and yes, $55K is Dreaming, he is probably worth closer to $550

LOL I didn't even notice the foaling date! So not only does he have a plebian pedigree but he has to run with horses with months advantage over him! Yeah I'd pay $55,000 for that. Um, not. Man I could pay the ransom of over 50 OTTBs for that...

On the other hand if they actually get anywhere near these prices I want these people to sell MY horses for me! :D

It looks like they're promoting him as a stallion prospect.

Does "55K w/consideration for retained breedings" mean that it is $55k + they get breeding rights OR that w/breeding rights he is less than $55k?

Looks like he has at least 5 full siblings and none have raced. Only info on the sire is that he's french and standing in SC.

Maybe they'd generate more interest if they said "Fit for a Sheik!"

Seriously people, as I've said on the 200K mare thread, I have a kitten with really soft fur (obviously a big deal, but I don't have to tell y'all that lol) for a tuppence...$50,000 for a cute lil kitten that doesn't require nearly as much food as a fully grown horse and believe me I bet both the kitten and this stallion prospect will begat the same number of horses worth anything to anybody...for $5,000 cheaper no less! The pedigree's even similar..totally nothing worth mentioning... how can you beat this deal

I am always amazed how ignorant people can be. I don't feel sorry for people who get scammed who do not do their homework.
Hopefully they are reading this thread and will learn something.

Here is what his dam has produced so far. His dam is the only one in her family...she had 20 starts earning $3,800
