Postby Winnie » Thu Feb 01, 2007 11:26 pm

I wonder if they did this considering he was cremated?

Did what? the article talks about where to bury his ashes---not an autopsy. Did I miss something?

We'll you would think they would have weigh his heart before they cremated him? Isn't that the thing to do now? Just curious.

If they did an autopsy then I believe they usually weigh and measure the organs. Would they have done an autopsy though?

why would they do an autopsy......to find out what killed him........the shot they gave him.......

Only an insurance company would require an autopsy. ?
It's certainly evident what caused his demise. I hope he was cremated whole and his heart was left intact like Secretariat's in 1989.

Exactly. Which is why I asked if they would even do one. Seems pretty pointless unless they want to look at other things.

What difference would it make?/ he did what he did with or without a large heart and he has no get to pass it to.

but Secretariat's heart was measured and found to be larger than average. Man O War was also found to have a larger than normal heart. I hope they did measure Barbaro's. It wouldn't be done just to satisfy someone's (like me) curiosity, but for scientific research.
